I would like to upgrade the speakers in my front two doors. I'm looking at a JBL amp that will put out 100 wrms x 2 at 4 ohms and 150 x 2 at 2 ohms. I want to get a pair of 6x9 co-axials. My needs are pretty simple, i will have enough low bass from my sub (FI Q 12) so i really just would like some good, solid mid bass with a nice smooth sound. Does anyone know of some good 6x9s? i'm also on a budget, a pair for $150 at the very most is what i'm looking at.

also, i'm looking at some JBL GTO 2 way co axials, has anyone had any experience with them? also the infinity kappas.

according to crutchfield, for some reason the Rev's "Don't Fit" my 2000 jeep grand cherokee. Could it be mounting depth? and how accurate is crutchfield in these situations?
If you are replacing them, no time like the present to take off the door panels and check to see exactly what size you need and what mounting depth you can fit.
