Help me find the right amp(s)

I am going to install 3 Alpine SWR-1022d subs and need to find the right amp setup. Does anyone have any sugesstions? I am okay spending some money but I don't want it to be crazy expensive for the amp.

Do some research. If you're looking for one amp to power 3 dual 2 speakers its going to be expensive. If you want to do one amp for each sub that will be expensive too. You need to decide what you can afford and then go from there. Powering two of these would be easier than 3 because three gives you a final ohm load of .33 or 1.33 so find an amp that is stable for this. Also with type r's you probably want roughly 1500 watts for three.

So there you have it find a 1 ohm stable amp that does 1500 watts, and watch your headlights dim.

there are some cadence zrs models on ebay for a good price....referbs but hey, 1500w of cadence power for $200, can't beat it. if you can find a cadence ultrashock A7, you da man...it would handle .33ohm easily.

Thanks for the advice guys, I decided to get the Orion HCCA-D2400 amp. It puts out 1200W at 1 ohm.
