Help me figure out why my amp may have blew?

Then it just sounds like you out gained your amp.

How did I outgain it if when I turned it all the way off, no bass was coming out. Meaning I guess he didn't set the gains.

SO, if he didnt set the gains at all, or if they were all the way off, how could I have "outgained" it? I dont understand....

I just checked the fuses on the amp and they were both still good.

I didnt take a look at the gains (DOH!)

Stop bumping this. you had a junk amp and it blew. That is what junks amps do. They blow.

I know it was junk. But 3 days is quick for any amp.

That was my whole question, why did it blow, because it was crap or was it something I or the installer did.......

i do not know what the gains are set at. Its hard ot see, its mounted to my back seat, and my trunk light cant see back there.

But since when I turned the bass boost knob down they went completely off, doesnt that mean they were set at 0?
