Help me design a box for two 12" Type R's

Well I am going to make the payment for two 12" Type R's (4ohm DVC) even though I'd rather get the 12" 06 L7's I'll just have to do witht he Type R's for a while and If I don't like I'll sell.

Anywho the plan is two 12" Alpine SWR-1242S subwoofers wired to a Lanzar OPTI2000D at 1 ohm for 1692w RMS (850w per sub) at 14.4 volts.

Manufacturer recomends a 2 cubic foot box (per Type R) and many people here have recommended a 4 cubic foot box tuned to 33 or 34Hz for the pair.

Trying to think of a box to build/have built and definately want to get a ported/dual slot vented box.I can not afford TCAB right now unfortunately but want something that will extract the most SPL out of the Two Type R's at 850w RMS apiece while still retaining a little SQ at high volumes.

What do you expierienced box builders say/think....I need details like port shape,length width/diameter etc etc.

find moe lesters thread on box plans and find 4 cubes tuned to 35hz and your all set! the build is real important so take your time and plan everything out.
