Help me decide

I'm going to be buying a car this week when i get my check from state farm. I'm either going to buy a 99-03 lincoln towncar, it will have under 100k miles, or a 01-03 cadillac deville, it will have around 100k give or take 10k or so. They're both going to cost about the same. I had a grand marquis so im kind of leaning towards the caddy to change it up some. The only thing is the cadillac's harder to work and parts cost more, What do you guys think?

i think either way ure good. i personally dont like caddys. i got a 95 tbird wiyh a lil over 200k on it and runs like a champ. owned it since day 1 and biggest repair has been alternator. get a tbird

buy a 1994 cadilac you can pick one up for like 3000- 4000 ant thats with under 80000 miles on it and then put the rest in to car audio. the 4.9 arr not that hard to work on and the parts are fairly cheap about the most expensive part is the ***** if you ever have to replace it

I'm for the Caddy. I was looking at getting myself a Caddy Deville 00-07 because I use to have a 89 Deville and a 91 Fleetwood. Now I am looking at getting either a Caddy Escalade or Infiniti QX 56. what ever you do don't buy one made before 2001 they have a problem with the head gasket blowing and its like a 3000-4000 repair

Im not a fan of the older styles. The one that I have my eye on is a 2000 but it looks nice im hopefully going to look at it tomorrow.

yes pre 2001 Cadillacs with the nothstar engine will blow head gaskets and even after their fixed their aint no guarantee that it wont happen again .it has some thing to do with the metal they used to make the engine . that's why i said get a 1994 Cadillac deville the 4.9 will go for like over 200,000 if not longer if you take care of them. jump over hear and check out the nothstar section and read you will find out for yourself http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/

I didn't know that. The one I was actually looking into is an 00 with 106k, two tone paint balck and pewter with a nice alpine flip out and two mtx 9500's. I could sell the audio and make some back and start with a clean slate

I'm white I just like big cars, i really liked my grand marquis so i figured why not upgrade to a lincoln. But I put the option on the poll for other opinions so that means im open minded to anything.
