Ok. Heres my dilemma.

I'm in the market for an amplifier that's class D technology, easy on my electrical system and reliable for daily driving. The amp must produce atleast 1000watts & be within my budget of $380.00.

My Car

My car is basically all stock, a stock 90A alternator; a stock Duramax battery (not sure on specs) My headunit voltage meter usually reads 13.9V-14.1V while my car is on. This is without any amps running. (just my cd player & coaxials)

I'm looking for something brand new that will match up well with a 12" Alpine Type R. The 12" is ported @ 36hz and will be in the trunk of my car. I have done my homework, pretty much scaped out all available amps.

So far, here is what I've came up with!

eD NINe.1

I've put alot of thought into what I'm going to be buying the past few days and still can't make up my mind! I've done my homework & these were the amps that kinda spoke out to me. I am still open to any suggestions/ideas and hopefully someone can give me their experience with these amps & suggest what I shall do. I'd just like to add one last thought. I'm the type of person who likes extra security. I don't want to buy someone elses problems or anything. I like warranty or knowing my amp isn't goint to be D.O.A. I work hard for my money, so please keep your suggestions reasonable. Thanks!

Thanks in advanced.

Dustin

u forgot one, my jbl 1200.1:) , but if not its between the tantrum and the kicker in my book
Yes, I already know that those amps are probally the best amps I have listed, but they lack warranty which is VERY important to me. I hear alot of good & bad things about the eD NINe.1. Most of the bad things are from Caraudio.com & SSA forums. I'm not a eD lover.. never owned anything by them, I just know theres alot of eD haters out there because of their owner.

and Niggz, can I get some info on your amp? I didn't know you had one for sale //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

P.s. I also had considered buying an US AMP from Flakko. The Merlin MD1. It sounded like he really went out of the way to get me the price that he got. I'll just say it's in my budget. (I don't think he wants me to say a price)

Any thoughts on a US AMPS Merlin MD1?

Hey Flakko!

I am also considering the Merlin MD1 still, as you might of read. Have you had any experience with the NINe.1? I see you have a NINe.2, how do you like that?

bleh.. that tantrum is getting high! So I doubt I'll go that route. I kinda started looking into the Diamond Audio D6 1000.1 anyone know anything about them? I'd also be REALLY intrested in a Memphis Audio MCD1000 but can't find one anywhere in my budget //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

p.s. bump for the night.. im off to bed

Any suggestions guys?

Also, tplaya said he could get me a DLS CAD-11 for $375 shipped with warranty. What do you all think about that. I really haven't heard too much about DLS.

Thanks,

Dustin
