help me decide which is a better deal

hey guys im trying to decide on which subs will be the better option for me. Im going to be using two kicker zx 2500.1 amps to power either 2 kicker 10" solo xs or 2 10" RE MTs....I can get 2 solos for 700 out the door. The Mts are going to run me about 1200..I would go with the solos hands down other than im worried about the sound quality. It doesnt have to be the best but it is a daily driver so it needs to be more than just really loud and i know the mts can do this so can the solos give me a decent sq...thanks for the help

i say go with some fi btl's instead of those two but if you must go with those options id go with kickers simply because i hate re

i hate re because they forgot who made them what they are..us the people got to big for there own good..btl's i belive for 18's run $409 shipped heres there web site

scott from re runs fi car audio i believe... im sure they are nice. meade likes his btl's quite a bit. re didnt really forget about who made them who they are- they used to sell direct, but they have always sold the majority of they;re stuff through dealers. Direct sales was a small piece of the pie i would imagine...

either way- not important. i would agree with denalilvr here- btl's ftw in this comparison. also maybe check out the audioque hd10's

Those speakers look good, and seem to be a good solution. I dont have the room for an 18 right now so im pretty much wanting to do a setup with 2 tens possibly 12s. Looking at fis website it doesnt have a whole lot as far as specs go. What size box do you guys typically run them in(sealed or ported). And how is the sq on the btls. Also it seems like you can customize them a bit, but if you are to blow one can you get it reconed through their company. Thanks

that sounds very apealing. What type of box do they need to be in(size, ported or sealed) and do they sound decent. and can they be reconed

they just put up the box sizes for the q series so btl should up soon.
