Help me decide what to do with the SS

Alright. So I has an '03 Silverado SS AWD w/ 80 some odd thousand miles.

It is wrecked on the drivers side (needs front driver, rear drivers side doors, and some trim.) Also the carpet behing the drivers seat is torn where someone stole my system. I'm guestimating $3000 to return to near showroom.

Now. I'm considering going a couple routes w/ this truck.

I could repair, paint it, and eventually supercharge it (around 450 wh, 600 tq). This route will cost me around $10K, the truck would be a beast, and I would retain a decent resale value.

Another option I am considering is to find a '2000ish S-10 Xtreme extended cab w/ a blown motor, making the engine and wheel swap, and making it a RWD.

Since the truck will be around 2,000 pounds lighter than the SS, I don't think it will need a blower to be fun. Downfall = resale value of this setup.

Another option would be to put the AWD system in the S-10, adding around 250 lb.

Man that looks good. My SS has those same 5 spoke silver 20's, and man do they look good on that Colorado.

I'm just doubting I can find one w/ a burnt motor near me.

Just fix the SS

Yeah, the only reason I am considering this is b/c of the resale value.

I'm kind of tired of the truck though. I mean it is really a beautiful truck, but get burnt out on vehicles very quickly.

If you can find a s-10 cheap enough i'd go that route even though i love the ss's. As long as you no how to do everything.

A little V8 Xtreme w/ some 40 series flo's dumpin right behind the axle.

I already have an 80 series dumped on the ss and it sounds sick, but would be so much sicker with that rumble coming from an s-10.

I actually used to have a single cab xtreme and I loved the handling compared to the ss...Just too small
