Don't know what happened with the other thread, anyhow, what I was trying to post is: I got a pretty good offer for an orion hcca 12. Would this be a good sub for me, or would I be better off saving up to get a xxx, eda, d2, etc. I Am looking for a sql setup, and I have an orion 9002 amp, that supposedly pushes about 1000 watts at 4 ohms. I have no way of heatring any of these subs first hand, so any info would be greatly appreciated.

the hcca's were ok not really anywhere near an sq sub though

True. I'd look at the ones you mentioned pluse the Brahma and the Eclipse Ti series.
