all right i have 1 18'' mt right now i dont know if i should get one more or just stick with 1..... my max dimensions are 43 wide 35 high and 25 deep. so thats about 20 cubic feet net.... idk after displacement of the subs port and wood.... if i would have enough space for the subs to reach full potential...... and if i can get them in there properly ... do i have enough space for the from wave for the subs to play with out working on each other or cancellation? this will be going ina 1999 for 4 door escort walled off ....

so in the long run what do you guess think would be better 2 or one ... what will get me louder ..... i was also thinking of gettin a mac design ? or should i just do a nice walled ported?? i needd help !? LOL

20 cubes gross not net...........but what exactly are you trying to achieve here....i'm guessing pure spl right?

If so....the old adage big is better is not neccessarily true anymore. I just built a box for a 18" MT that was 3.5^3@40 htz and it just freaking wangs. i would think 7 cubes is more than fine but i'm NOT a spl guru so....

i would about 7 cubes each, single port with about 300-350sq in of port would wang....i'm no expert but it sounds good to me
