Im looking for sound quality mostly, but I also want a speaker thats not afraid to get loud or of a little power.I want something thats not gonna lose to much SQ at loud volumes. This is a project Im working on in a dodge quad cab FYI.I want to basically replace all stock locations(which is front doors and rear doors in my case).I will also have 2-10 ich subs under the back seat(prefab for dodge)

I will be running almost 1000watts to both subs so Im guessing about 500watts to all the new speakers Im thinking of getting?Any input would greatly be appreciated. Also,do you think front Kick panels enclosures added would be an overkill?

So FOCAL or Boston Acoustic pros?

Doesn't even matter what model of Focal you choose, BA Pros are where its at!
Really? Thanks thats what I need to know.I know they are both good, just dont know which would be better.I do like the High power of the boston pros though

It depends on what set of focals your running. If your doing the 165k2p's against the pros then take the Focals hands down. But the pros are a great speaker.

I just ran them in my last install! They sounded great. But my Focals are by far the best setup I've ran so far.

Thanks everyone for input....looks like I will be getting BA pro's!Let see,I will have 2 sets...hmmm looks like I better get another amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif All I have is 2 rockford 4080's and 1 is down for the count...so really only one.Dont think that will do them justice...just appease me...Its a great excuse for a new amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

165k2p uv over pro60 but they are twice the price.

165vr is = pro60 enough that you should listen and let your ears decide which they like best.

don't buy expensive things that are purely subjective based off of ppls opinions on forum posts. listen for yourself mangs.

and don't stress over the rms and max wattage ratings of the speakers jesus christ.

went to the store today to listen to the two. well i was looking for subs but had a listen to the two anyways. hahaha. well for my type of music. i think the focals are the way to go. unless all you listen to is hip hop, then get the pros. that's where i think they really shine. but for everthing else and an overall sq. i like the sounds of the focal's a lot better. makes all the music i listen too sound the same and not one louder then the other. if that makes any sense. oh and it also depends on which line of the focal or bostons you get. i think i liked the low line focals and the high end of them. the middle line of them was too much tweeter based. unless you like the club music. for the bostons, it always sounded like a club and played it quite well. but when i put something other then rap and hip hop, they didn't handle it very well. but eh, that's my oppionion. anyways, no mind me i just rambling and it's late here so umm. yah ok buy. hahah =)
