Help me decide on some new audio equipment

Yeah, i am mostly looking to get as tight and responsive bass as possible. 12" sub would probably be the right choice then, huh? The reason i was thinking a 15 possibly was because they can hit a little lower. As for space, I got two amps and a big *** sub box in my trunk right now, so even a 15 would be a large cut back on used space.

me personally, i think u should get rid of the mono amp, run the 2 cvrs sealed off the 4channel along with the other speakers as I diagramed in an earlier post. it should save you money not having to buy more stuff

Yeah, thats not a bad idea but i really want to chage some stuff up. My cvrs are in a ported box right now, and dont sound bad, but i would prefer not too get a new box. Plus, i want to save a little space in my trunk as it is pretty packed right now. As for the amps, they both work ine, but with the D-Block, it leads to kind of a wire jungle so i was thinking one amp would help with that problem.

What type of enclosure are you going to be using and have you thought about looking into the Mag V4?

Definetly going to be a sealed enclosure. Haven't looked into a Mag V4, got any info about it?

I am pretty sure its only 5.5" deep so you will definitaly save some space in your trunk using a sealed enc. Heres the link where you can get some more info. http://www.stereointegrity.com/mag.php Im sure with what you are looking for and your budget it would be a good fit.

Probably going to need a sub with a 2-ohm impendence though. 4-ohm wont allow enough power with the amps i have been looking at.

Looking to ditch my MRP-F450 4-channel whch puts out around 70wrms per channel and my MRP-M350 mono which is around 350wrms. Want to get a 5-channel amp that puts out around the same wattage perferably a little more.

The amp that currently has caught my eye is the Kicker ZX700.5. It puts out 70wrms per channel at 4-ohms for my speakers and does 420wrms at 2-ohms for a sub i believe. Matches what i am looking for the best, wish the speaker output was a litle higher but i wont complain. It is pretty affordable.

You could still run with that AMP and the Mag you would just be able to use half of the power which im gona guess isnt a good thing for you. But then again I know of a amp that would be good for the MAG and you can get a package deal for like $550 which is gona save u $50 on your budget. http://www.stereointegrity.com/order.php . Good luck man, Personally I think you should find an AMP to fit the Mag not a Sub to fit the AMP, I got the same set-up in my ride and the quality is unbeatable. Hope you get what your lookin for though.. I know theirs more choices then ever nowadays.

I know you are supposed to match the amp to the sub, but I really want a 5-channl amp so i might have to make a few consessions.
