help me decide on a compressor for my audio addition

I'm trying to purchase a compressor, looking for something between 20-30 gallons, 5-7 cfm @ 90psi, been looking at the two:

1. Porter Cable: 25 Gallons, 175psi max, 2 stage (quieter), 5.1 CFM at 90PSI, $289 shipped on amazon, $450 many other places online

2. Craftsman : 6.4 CFM @ 90 PSI, 26 Gallons, Single Stage (Louder), 150 PSI Max, $234 picked up after 20% discount (ends the 8th), you also get a cheap 1/2 impact wrench and 3/8" rachet (probably $50 in total value)

Please suggest what you think i should buy. Limit is $300. If something else, please let me know what that is.

i have a craftsman 30 gallon and love it. but what are you going to be using it for??? what tools to you want to use?

mainly around the house...

i don't think i'm going to use any extreme sanders...craftsman has a DA sander that requires like 5cfm at 90 and that's probably the most extreme thing i'll use....

the typical impact, rachets, and nailers and staplers...

i got tomorrow to get the craftsman or not...we'll see

Seriously I'd want atleast a 60gallon... but if you aren't doign anythign to extreme, I guess one of those you listed would get the job done.

some people said on amazon that the PC one is actually rooted from devilbiss...

anyways, i was thinking about getting a small compressor for house work and that is very portable for minor stuff and get a fat 60 or 80 gallon for the garage only...

my old man convinced me that i will probably never need more than 6 or so psi because i'm not a shop and will never do any heavy duty stuff other then minor hobbies and basic garage tools, and since he does have a point, i think i'm just going for something in the middle that will do the job around the house and garage...
