big 3 shouldnt be anywhere near 100. its just some wires and a little work. if u get an installer to do it, shouldnt be over 50bux. thats what mine told me.

do you have a link for the big 3 around $50?

Ohms are resistance. How much resistance is in the current? The less resistance, the more current will flow, which will draw more current... more taxing on your electrical. Just because it DOES 1500w, doesn't mean you have to use all of it, you can use the gain to control the output to what you want/need. If you don't have one already, make sure you pick up a DMM (Digital Multimeter). Can be had for $20 at Radioshack.

Go with the Obsidian Audio man, it will perform well off a wide range of power. The HDC's will take more power to get just as loud, and twice as much to really have full potential. The OA would be way better than that MB Quart listed above :\

I paid $25 shipped for what I needed for my Big 3. Same with about 8ft of 1/0 wire, 8 terminals, and a fuse holder with 250a fuse. Just look around on the forums to see who is selling wire and see if they have terminals too.

Yep, 3 wires, 1 is typically VERY short. You need 6 terminals, my seller just happened to have more. The fusing is not necessary, but is a good step. Plus it helped me connect 2 smaller lengths of wire to form one longer run.

For your front stage, I definitely wouldn't get those pioneers unless they were free, I'd look into component speakers for sure. I run 300w in my front speakers and love it. Typically a 65x4 amp will be good for front and rear speakers.

 not the pioneers ? They are component also :p

Also off topic. I need a head unit, basic, with a few ports on the back for 2-3 amps . Around $100 and I'll need a place to buy the plastic enclosure for the head unit. :p

And hmmm... Okay so.

Obsidian 4ohms 15"- mb quart 1000 watts at 1 ohms

Or

Obsidian 4ohms 15" - mb quart 1000 watts at 2 ohms ( this is a 1500 watt amp at 1 ohms also )
