I am planning on buying new 5 1/4" and 6x9 speakers for my 99 lumina on monday.

My HU = Panasonic CQ-DF802U CD Receiver with CD Changer ControlsWith the "Ghost" Virtual Control Panel at Crutchfield.com (Panasonic CQ-DF802U)

My amp too power 5 1/4" + 6x9's = Sony XM ZR1852 Amplifier

(Sony XM ZR1852)

I have $200 dollars too play with. I can absolutly not decide what too buy. Ive toyed with the idea of getting Pioneer TS-G1343R 5 1/4" with Power Acoustik XP-694K (5 1/2 running of my HU, 6x9's each on a seperate channel off my amp).

someone point me in the right direction please.

anyone?

I would also consider spending more on 6x9's and wait too buy some 5 1/4 inch speakers.

any suggestions would ne highly appriciated.

I assumed Id want too invest more into my 6x9's considering they are bigger and porbably handle more rms?
I'm assuming the 5.25" speakers in your vehicle are in the fronts and the 6x9"s are in the rear. Is this correct?

If so, you'll want to buy solid 5.25" components for your front stage and amplify them. The rear speakers are infinitely less important and in fact can be disregarded altogether if need be. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

More speakers DOES NOT = better sound...

alright, thank you. I am planning on buying a 15" or 18" sub once i save some money anyway, so I guess the fronts will be even more important. thank you!

This is going into my 99 lumina, I plan on driving the car until its dead. where would be the best location for the tweeters? drill them ontop of the dash on each side right under the windshield?
