lol............ This could be true either way i guess, if you know what i mean. Just like car audio install is the key lol but I have a buddy with an 03 cobra which is very nice even though im not a ford guy for cars anyway. He has goin pretty good its fast and can kill a couple other ss's that chilll up at the local spot also eats yamaha r1's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif . But when you get a serious ss in there with someone who spent the money on the right things and got in tuned correctly....... Ya boy:up2somet: they run. But your right it could go either way.

a ss with a boat load of money in it will obviously smoke a cobra with few mods and vis-virsa.

I don't see the point of this at all. Unless your current vehicle is old or something, your new vehicle will be just as likely to be broken into and/or stolen. As mentioned before: get an alarm, get a good one, and choose whatever vehicle you want.

i have an alarm and my tahoe has already been broken into once in a very nice part of san jose where i am from. they got $4,000 in car audio and $6,000 in camera stuff. Im a chevy guy so i want the SS more but its cheaper to mod a stang

not necessarily. i would actually say its more expensive to mod a stang. its expensive to mod both. either of them are capable of being rockets though. i am just partial to fords. the ls1 is a great motor with tons of potential.

yea, a ls1 has a lot of potential, more than any other motor, but a cobra with the right stuff will kill an ls1 with the same amount of money in it.

Not true at all

My buddy has about $4k in his 04 GT (heads,headers, x-pipe, catback, tune) he neeeds gears bad.

My 02 Formula (LS6 Heads ported and polished, LS6 Intake-both from wrecked Z06, long tube headers, off road y-pipe- both from wrecked Z28, 3in all the way back to the Borla, 3.73, cutom tune.) $1500 invested, it helps having an uncle that owns a big junkyard in Ft. Worth

Mine tears his down everytime. Sad thing is he bought his to beat mine. It would take a big shot of juice or a supercharger.

WTF?! $10,000 in stuff, you must be rich. What is the setup of your alarm? How much are your windows tinted? In an SUV, I'd definetely do 5% in the back.

i worked 3 years for the camera stuff. im on my way to become a pro photographer so i need that stuff. but i worked for all the stuff i had in car audio and camera stuff. i have 3 jobs so im always workin. windows are stock tinted. im waiting for my parents shop to start doing tinting, they own a body shop and a glass shop.
