friend had ipod mini and i have a creative Zen Xtra, i wouldnt trade him in a million years... i havent had one problem with mine where his freezes all the time. now mine is alot bigger than his but it was ~50 less and holds ~7x more. But if i had more cash i would either go with a newer creative for the Iriver, his uncle has the Iriver. Its also very nice

Oh I've used them, how could somebody not, everybody and their left testicle owns one. My sister and dad both have them, 75% of my friends do. I'm as familiar with iPods as I am with my iRiver. I'm not saying iPods are bad, as I said earlier, they are a great player. They just dont have the features others do.. especially for the price. They are the bandwagon player which people defend to the end. Thats not a bad thing really. We've seen our share of bandwagon products on this forum, most are indeed great products, but those who own them will defend them like they are the best thing ever. Am I the only one that realizes this? i got mine from ebay. very cheap...i can send music to my car without taking anything back and forth...i just send the music via wireless network right to the car.

I am just speaking from experience. I had four different mp3 players before going to the world-renowned ipod and I finally see the big difference between ipod and ALL, yes ALL other mp3 players. i think the ipod is better because its sexier, smaller, lighter, and ive yet to have a problem with it. creative mp3 players are known for their head phone jacks to stop working, ipod batterys are known to die after 2-3 years, but the batter is 15$ replacement online, while you cant fix the head phone jack.

ipod. imho, fm transmitters are WACK! use an aux input, or get an ipod interface.

between mine, friends and families... there is a difference, soley based IMO the Ipod wouldnt be far from the top just not my #1

no where did i say i was upset with mine or his player, once again just stating i am happier with mine than he seems to be with his at times

and lastly i wasnt comparing my OLDER model MP3 player to the ipod, but the newer model Creatives and Irivers. Hense why i accualy stated that the down side to mine is its size.
