Help me choose new sub

Ok well I'm pretty sure my sub is blown. I tried everything I could today including hooking the wires directly up to the speaker outside the enclosure just to see if any sound would come out. Nothing. So now I have to get a new sub. I'd like a 10" for roughly $50-70. I had a rockford fosgate punch z 10" and it hit very nicely for what it was(Should I get another of those?). Mostly looking for hard hitting bass not really sound quality. Amp is a kenwood 125-150watt rms and this is going in a 92 mustang gt(hatchback). Thanks!

i agree with the mtx 6000...maybe even step up to a rf he....

check out some ed 10's...they should work well..

for real your a fool. anyway i say go with snova's reply he suggested a smart woofer. if you wanna spend 125 though and a 12" would be ok, look into the adire shiva. i noticed the swtguy you go to southwest texas state??

JBL makes nice 10's that sound awsome and can be foundfor under 70 on ebay. Also look for MA audio, and kicker on there too.

thats what i dont understand!!?? why would audiobahn come out with a 5000w rms sub when theres not a amp to push it? Youwould have to put 2 or 3 d@mn good amps together just to power that thing an i dont no how they can expect to make alot of money of sumphin liek that unless they came out with a proper amp 4 it ... just my opinon...does ne one have any experience with the audiobahn 34" sub?

theres the jbl 4000 watt amp that would power it, i heard they sound like crap, mainly for show not spl shootouts

Nah the infinity refs are better then the shivas, I heard both.

lol yeah i'm sure buddy. i am sure your an expert on the adire shiva right so tell me what are the specs on them if your so caught up on them. i happen to know that the shiva is one of the best money for the bang subs other than elemental K series. show some respect ya noobie.

p.s.- audiobahn thought about your comment on the amp to push the 34" sub that has the same magnet srtucture and motor structure as their smaller cone size subs. they came out with a 5000watt amp although i have yet to read or see one. that 34" sub can be outdone by MANY systems around the world with smaller subs.

Then you didn't listen good enough, or the enclosure just sucked. Shiva blows away the Infinity Reference.
