Help me choose my subs.......

Hey Guys,

I have a 2011 GMC Sierra Ext Cab and unfortunately I am limited on space. I need help picking out a pair of 10's with less than 5.75 mounting depth and that would do well with only .60 cu ft per sub before displacement. I listen to quite a bit of rock, but sometimes rap as well. I am looking for a sub that can give me both sound quality and SPL. The subs will be powered off of a Cadence ZRS-C65 mono block amp. It puts out 600 watts at 4 ohm and 1200 at 2 ohms. Any help would be much appreciated!

nothing against you OP but these threads are all the same. pick up some cadence 8's, sundown sa8s, dd1508(dont know price). there are a good array of options

I read this on another website. "We suggest 0.6 - 1 cube ported tuned to 30-40 hz based on your goals and preferences. Sealed can be utilized but is not optimal for these drivers". So disregard the comment about running them sealed and go ahead and give them a shot?

they can be ran sealed, but arent designed to. have you looked into any of the shallow mount wooferS?

I have, but I would like to avoid getting a shallow mount if I can help it. I would be interested in the new alpine type r slims, but they are an arm and a leg. Also, I have looked religously at forums trying to find used BM MKIII's, but can't find any.
