I have the JBL subs in my car right now.

Pioneer 306DVCs are still in box.

The thing is, should I switch the the JBL 10s for the Pioneer subs and just list the JBLs on Ebay since I could not sell them anywhere? I would definatly switch them if the jbls were sold but now that I dont have a buyer im having second thoughts. Will it be worth it? The box for the 12s is 1.25 cubs each powered by the GTO1201.1 amp. I listen mainly to rap. Will this help me out more?

If you have the space go for it. 12's are going to give you more bass if that's what you want out of the rap you listen to....

well thats another thing I was worried about. I know some people will say that trunk space will mean nothing as long as it fits in there but I always think other wise. The box that I have right now is 12.5 x 12.5 x 26 the 12s box is 14x 14 x 29. Im pretty sure it will fit. Its just that the decision is harder to make since my jbl subs didnt sell.

Haha your very funny. I mean I could list them on ebay and just see what happens but theres so much JBL stuff on there I kinda think no one will see my listing. But I'll do it anyways. I was planning on selling the Pioneers new but of course if I open them they wont be any more. Im stuck really.... I have no idea. Im so reignorant... I hate testing.... I hate having to keep changing the gains on my amp because of different ohm loads.... I hate the wire terminals that keep slippin out of the screws...

Have you tried bummin the JBL's off on any of your friends? Ask around school? You might just need to network your local area and see if you can get any bites.

Yea thats what I did. I tried selling them on the net too but they were mostly trades and one guy didnt have enough money. But really what got me to buy the pioneers was that they were cheap 1, 12s are better then 10s for rap 2, and 10s just dont impress 3. And plus I heard my girls car also. She has 1 of them which sounds pretty good. I think polyfill would help the low end some also. But they handle it well. But again thats a different car. Bigger trunk. F*** I should have just bought a scrapper and not a small *** coupe...

I actually had my girls sub in my car for a while and I did sound alright. It could not handle all the power from the amp - of course - because it would pop sometimes. Then again it was wired @ 2 ohms so that was about 1200 watts going to it. I might just be me but for some reason it seems as if there are more rattles after having the 12 in there...

Keep the pioneer's they will get pretty loud with that amp you have.

Yea I considering it more and more to do that. I mean even if I dont sell the jbls, its not a huge loss if they sell on ebay. I'll look into the switch when I get home from work. And see how they sound. Because the friend thats planning on buying the 12s would want the subs screwed in and wired already anyways. I'll see.

Im going to probably install the 12s now. I dont know how much pollyfill I should throw in there. The manual just says to put some sound absorbent material. Doesnt say how much tho.

man Im really starting to hate caraudio. I got the 12s installed in there. I mean they are pretty good and all. But maybe they are not hitting the lows as I expected. And also I can hear more rattles then bass sometimes. I might just end up keeping the 10s or sumthin. I know I havent given the 12s enough time but I dunno.
