help me choose from these two subs

im down to my final two choices for my new sub. due to size restraints(gonna be built in a console box for a dodge ram), im going with one 10 ported. i will be powering either sub off a dd m1a(1200x1 conservative) and will be ported in about 1.6 cubes.

which one and why? all input is appreciated.

the two subs are not comparable..

AQ SDC2.510 is more comparable to DD 2510

HDC3s comparable to DD 9500 series

I suggest you get the JBL P1022 it is much better than the DD 2510 imho. It will be louder with great tonality with the M1a amp.

tonality? very box related. i run a pair of 2510's that would blow your mind with their wide range, smooth and defined note shifts, and overall tone. they just plain pound when you get on it. tuned at 50hz, with the length of my car, it gets unreal at the driver/passenger seat.

the 2500 series of DD's line is where the SQ/SPL compromise. it is right down the middle. it makes for a very dynamic setup.

with a single 10" go for 1.5" cubes, tuned at roughly 40hz. make sure you figure out the ports external volume and add that to the 1.5 cubes. you will probably be in the 1.7 gross range.
