I also considered picking up one of subthumps boxes for camaros and putting an aero port in it. that would give me a nice box and I wouldn't have to build it.

Basically, I want it to be punchy and really LOUD. I don't want to sacrifice any db's by going with a 12 instead of the 15 even though the 15 would be a bigger PITA

BTW, I would use 2 SD2.5c 10's, with that amp.

That prefab single 12 camaro box does actually work decent.....suprisingly. I slapped a 2512 DD in one for a kid on a audiopipe 1500, and it was louder than anyone expected.

Wouldn't be too bad of an option with a HD3c 12.

are you talking about a sealed box?

I don't want to seal up an HDC3. Seems like its not a good idea

if he barely has the room for the 12 ports how will he for the 2 10s ported esp after dd and port...... plus the extra cash spent will not be worth it....

No it's a ported box. And sealing an HDC3 isn't a good idea.

opinions on modding a single 12 or single 15 subthump box? they are nice. all I'd really need is an aero port. I've never used an aero port, dont know how they sound, and don't know how to install. this is just an idea.

#2, no contest. You'll choke the 15 and the sealed 10s will be as loud as the 12 but cost a fair penny more.
