I don't know what setup would go best with my RF T20001bd. I am limited on space in the back of my camaro. I have 3 choices. I am definately going with AQ HDC3's. My amp is underrated at 2000w rms. I I don't have the birthsheet but im sure it puts out over 2500 rms.

Which should I pick to go with my amp?

1. 2 10" AQ HDC3 10's sealed with a lil over 1 cube each

2. 1 12" AQ HDC3 12 vented in around 2.5 to 3 cubes tuned to around 36 or 37hz.

3. 1 15" AQ HDC3 15 vented in around 2.5 to 3 cubes tuned to around 36 or 37hz.

What kind of sound difference should I expect from a 12 and 15 running off the same amount of power?

haha I wish. but I can't fit an 18 back there!

I dont have enough room to do 2 12's ported. I can do eithe a single 12 or a single 15 ported.

what will be the sound difference between the two?

I'm scared that that the 15 won't be as punchy as the 12.

The 15" HDC3 could easily be just as punchy as a 12" or 10" or 18" HDC3. It is 90% install.

IMO the only choice is number 2. I ran my 15 in a 3.1 cu ft box after port/dd and liked it, but the sub seemed t lack the lows slityle bit and seems to want a bigger box. Also from talking to DJ he recommends 2.5-3 cu ft for the 12.

Definately wouldn't go with option 1, due to the fact that these subs are built for SPL, and just not made to be put in a sealed enclosure.

Hope my .02 helped

Coming from a guy who ran a 15" in a small box.

I vote 12" also.
