Ok, I’m needing to power three 15" JBL Dual Coil 4ohm speakers; each with a power range of 50-300 RMS watts, (150 watts per coil). These subs are help in a single ported encloser.
So I need at least 900 RMS, and I’m guessing the obvious choice would be to get a 1000watt amp. I i do, I'd plan on getting a 4 channel, because it’s easier to wire.
Does anyone have a suggestion on a 1000W 4-channel AMP that I could get for under $500 to $600? If a good amp is going to above those prices, I suppose I’ll just have to spend more : )
Also, would any one advise getting a mono 1000W for any reason? Or maybe getting multiple smaller watt amps rather than one large watt amp? All suggestions and comments will be helpful!
Thanks-
