I have three (3) 10 inch RF Punch Z 100WRMS/8Ohm (RFZ2810) wired in parallel located in a ~ 100 litre dual-port box.

What kind of parameters should I look for in an amp when aiming to get the most out of these fawkers?

I think they are asking because you said 100 watt subs made by Rockford Fosgate? 8 ohm voice coils? Brings back memories from back in the day when I used to run Kicker C series subwoofers... availible in 8 or 4 ohm single coils. Though I think the RMS was more like 250-500 back then, C6.5 - C18. I probably still have some literature from the local kicker/kenwood shop back in the day.

I think if your final ohm load is high, like 2.66 ohms before rise, then you are gonna need an amp that does about 400-500rms at 2 ohms and you should be good. A mono amp would be best, because most 2 channel amps don't like bridging at 2-3 ohms without getting really hot and really "taxing" your electrical system for nothing. A Class D mono amp would be the best choice.

Thanks for an insightful answer.

Yeah, these things are old school for sure, easily 20 years old. It says "max 200 watts" on the magnet, so I assumed RMS would be around 100?

Hm, a mono amp with 500 RMS, sounds like something old school should fit the bill nicely. Linear Power, Phoenix Gold or an Orion perhaps (if I can get my hands on one)?
