help me choose a setup

Thanks for all the help. Im pretty much set on the 2 ap1200's or still 2 hifonics bx605 whichever you guys think would be best. As for the subs im just going to stick with the 2 2ohm dvc that I have. I figured that should be plenty loud? The only thing holding me back from the ap1200 would be if it has the SSF or not but if I read your post right it should?

is that Profile California AP1200 Peak Output Power(4 Ohms)-400W x 2

RMS Output Power(4 Ohms)-200W x 2

Peak Output Power(2 Ohms)-600W x 2

RMS Output Power(2 Ohms)-300W x 2

is it bridgeable @ 2 ohms mono????
no...at 4 it is 600x1

two Ap2000's? idnk the draw from that amp but hows ur electrical? and make sure you get dual d2's if you plan on bridging each L7 at 4ohms to an AP

Two of these ( http://ikesound.com/product-product_id/2214 )

As for my electrical I was waiting to buy wiring after the amps so I would have more of an idea of what I need. As for power im going to get an optima battery (not sure on red or yellow yet) and a cap.

So far ive come down to these 3 options

2 l7's @ 600w rms each w/ 2 hifonics bx605 amps

2 l7's @ 600w rms each w/ 2 ap1200 amps

3 l7's @ ~450w rms each w/ 1 hifonics tx1505d

Im sure I will go with "option 2" as long as the ap amp(s) have a SSF. I may be wrong but I figured 3 subs that are underpowered and 2 that are powered correctly should sound about the same?

(2) S12L7D4 running off (2) AP1200

my choice BUT the 1200's dont have SSF...unless you tune low enough well its really not a concern //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

So the whole needing a SSF for a ported box is somewhat bs? These also seem to be interesting http://ikesound.com/product-product_id/1018 . I just dont know if it bridges to 4 ohms.
You can easily overexcurt/bottom out your subs if you tune to where you will be losing output for a lot of Hz...ex: if you're tuning to 30 or above Id use a SSF....I always tune low (27ish is my good spot) and havent really used a SSF. I still get a tad of overexcurting (sp?/word?) but rarely...it hasnt really bothered me. Anything above 30 Id use a SSF. Especially since L7's most ppl tune in mid-high 30's low 40's then yes use one

I think you can buy a SSF inline but idnk...im gonna google it and see...

that CL800 is bridgable at 4ohms for 600x1 but no SSF either...

Thanks again for all the help. Im still fairly new when it comes to getting real deep into this stuff. As for the tuning I have no idea what I want etc just lookin for something thatll pound. If I do go with a sealed boxed bc of no SSF are the sealed boxes really all that much quieter than ported?

Unless something major stops me I think im going to go with the CL800 amps. For only 88 each I figured I cant go wrong unless theyre junk.
