Help me choose a good bass setup!!

so right now i have the crossovers at the amp to full pass and at the hu hpf 100hz and lpf 80hz, but i want the sub to deliver more punch and less boomy sound how can i achive that guys?

different box different tuning. Your head unit or crossover settings arent gonna do sh*t to change that.

you are hitting the lows with your setup. Maybe you are used to the prefab box sound that doesnt hit lows. Overall you'll just want something a lot louder. Use that ppi for your mids and highs and use a monoblock for subs man.

my plan its to get an amp but I wonder if the problem I have not getting the desire sound its because of my jlw0 or because of tuning problems, which i think i have right, the amp its in full pass and the pioneer 80 prs have hpf 125 hz and lpf 80 hz, i wonder if i need a sub like the sundown sa 12 with an amp and just drop it in the fiber glass sub box in order to achieve less boomi sound and more of a thight base response

AGAIN. its not your settings, its not the sub, ITS YOUR ENCLOSURE ENCLOSURE ENCLOSURE ENCLOSURE. How many times do people have to say that to you. Its how your box is tuned that affects the sound. WHatever else you listed does not matter in comparison. The SA 12 wont do sh*t to solve your problems, if anything it'll make it even worse. Get a box properly tuned and designed right tailored to how you like your subs to sound.

Sound and output is 70% enclosure.
