Help me choose 2 12s to go with BC2k

Hello fellas!

Could you guys please give me recommendations on 2 12's to go with my new Crescendo BC2000d amp?

Here's the specs on the B2K:

BC2000d 2250@1ohm@13.8v 1100@2ohm 700@4ohm

I am looking for SQ over SPL. Of course I want it to be loud, but not at the cost of it sounding clean & tight.

I have 1/0 KnuKonceptz wiring which I will be installing with the big 3 setup.

The subs will be in the trunk of a Pontiac G6 coupe. The back seats do fold down, but lets plan to tune the setup with them in the up position.

Budget is $600 tops, although I would prefer to be closer to the $500 mark. I will be building a quality custom enclosure.

If you could give a bit of reasoning with your suggestions I would appreciate it. I'm new to this game, but I am throughly enjoying learning about all cool gear there is out there.

Here are a few I have looking at:

Fi Q's - A bit high $, but I have not heard any bad reviews. $285 ea

SSA ICON-12-D1 $265 ea

DC Audio - Lvl 3 or Lvl 4s?

DD Audio Which series?

SA-12s Are these more aimed at the SPL side of things? $200 ea

Skar vvx 12's ~ $300 pair (The price is RIGHT!)

Do I have to contact the manufacturers directly to get pricing for DC and DD sub pricing?

Would the DD 1500 or 2500 series be the right sub for the B2k? I saw MSRP of over $400 on the 2500......dang!

DD2500 series. they are high but nice. They also need huge boxes unless you get the supercharged option.

If you do not have a dealer in your area you can contact DC directly, and normally get a better price.

The Skars have my attention right now. THe price is certainly right.

Question is, will they hold up to the B2k at 1ohm if I'm really running them hard?

skar's definately...yes, they will hold up to that amp at 1ohm

tune them low and enjoy

I would either do TC sounds lms-r's or 2 FI Q or SSD's. Either would sound great and would hold up to that amp.
