HELP: louder box for my sx?

before switching up subs, i was thinking about building a different box to maximize output for my sx 15...

it's about 3.9 cubes tuned to 35... with only about 75 square inches of port...

i was thinking about making one that is 5 cubes tuned to 35 with 100sq" of port...

would this make a difference in low end and output you think??? would it be a niceable difference?

any advice on how to increase loudness with my box would be appreciated!!!

wouldn't i loose any low end that i had tho? is it worth my time to build another box? kind of want a noticeable difference for DAILY...
