HELP!! Kicker sx 900/2

hello i have a 2004 kicker sx 900/2 amp. i am running two kicker cvx 12 dual 2 ohms at 225w@4ohm stereo , i was wondering if anyone knew how to tune this amp. Kickers instructions are very vague, my problem is there a highs going therw the subs, and i have tried tuning it my self and cant find out what the problem is. any help is appreciated.

There should be a setting for your low-pass filter. Set it around 80hz.

i have done that already and there are still highs going therw the sub.

Set it lower then? Turn the LPF down until you dont hear highs anymore. You sure your not hearin your speaker mids/highs instead of the the sub "playing" them?

i have done that and yes i am positive that its the sub playing the highs could it be possible my lpf is broken?
