HELP kicker, audiobahn wiring

I have 2 kicker comp vr (old version) 2ohm DVC subs and an audiobahn a8002t amp (and a 1.2 farad cap)... What would be the best way to wire this for good sound and reliability, i heard these amps might overheat at a 2 ohm load? can i wire 2ohm DVc to run at 4 ohm?

just go to audiobahninc.com and they will have a 2 ohm wiring configuration either in the manual for the amp in costomer service or in customer support.
