Help, Jealous wife. Need suggestions.

She has a 2001 Toyota Camry with the 6 speaker JBL factory stereo. It sounds really nice but has no guts at all. I will be keeping the factory headunit, and wiring to high level inputs off the rear speakers. I plan to use a 120w-250w RMS amp, 8 gauge power wire, and a sealed single sub enclosure.

But I need suggestions on a 10" or 12" sub in the sub $100 range. She listens at moderate volume, and she wants more bass but not loud "noise".

Help?

Just buy a 10 or 12 Bazooka bass tube, thats all she will need.Thats what Id put in there, and she will be happy,even the amplified 8 will sound fine also..Just a suggestion, and easy install/box/weight saving add on , and not heavy to move to the side to get to the spare tire if you dont have Road side?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The Dayton is nice but unfortunately a bit out of the "budget".

there's a couple of lower line Dayton 10s in the classifieds now for 90 shipped. nothing special but will do exactly what you want. I want em just to try out.

Well, i can only recommend one sub that I know for a fact will bang for the money spent, and is cheap, and you can also get a used amp for the $100 bucks.Its the Lanzar Max Pro 10.Just one ran in a 1.6cuft ported box at 2ohms will bang that car nicely.My other recommendation.I had two on an old school mean machine 99, and i couldnt hardly stand it! It was in the hatch of a 93 Integra

those dont look too bad either. with your budget I'd probably recommend used though. You will get more for your money.

I can do an older re audio re8 + jbl bp 300.1,for a good price.

Sub is d4 and jbl will do 300+ at 1 or 2 ohm..
