help. infinity 1300a amp need wiring help

hey guys ive done some research on this amp. its in my 97 yukon. it has two outputs wich ive come to understand is a parallel output. i have two kicker single voice coil 10s 4 ohms. wired pos neg to one pos neg to other. is that 2 ohm. if not how do i wire them for 2 ohm or 1ohm. the amp dosent hit very hard at all. unless its wayyy up and the gain is all the way up. also if i switch to dvc comps should i go with 2 ohm or 4 ohm and how would i wire them for 2 ohm or 1 ohm wiring. i know its a lot of questions but i figured u guys could help. the wiring diagrams i found at crutchfield and the like only show the wiring with one output. not two.

Sounds like your doing that. Hopefully you are then you can rewire all of it and just drop the OHM's to 2 and get a lot more power. What Kickers do you have? 300watt's isn't not that much to start with tho. comp's don't matter as much when it comes to OHM loads as subs. Need more info. Your amp may be un-proportional too your subs if they require a lot of power but idk. theres my 2 cents

They are reg 4ohm kicker comps. and they are wired both to amp wich would b parallel or like u have drawn. amp has 2 outs and i have two speakers using both outs. i believe thats 2 ohms. im looking at hifonics amp brutis. but dont want a amp so big i need 2 batts or alts to keep it going

if the amp has two sets of output terminals. connect each speaker to each terminal. the amp will see a 2 ohm load.
