help in choosing between these 2 HU's..

I am looking at the Alpine X303 and Pioneer 6000UB. I need ipod hookup and other than that...nothing really. max i was looking to spend is the 170...which is how much the 303 is...lmk what u guys think...or if there is any other options..

I've used both Alpine and Pioneer. I would recommend the Pioneer over the Alpine. With the Pioneer, you'll get a CD player. The Alpine doesn't offer that. All the Pioneers I've owned, even the cheap ones, feel more solidly built than any of my Alpines.

Pioneer. Better bang for your buck. I have a 6000UB right now, and it's pretty sweet.

i had the 6000 ub and i thought it was ok but u can find a better Hu

unless your going for the extream best, imo, the pioneer's are very hard to beat.
