Help, i'm confused

I have 2 12" 4-Ohm subs, is it possible to run these subs by a mono amp such as a Kicker 750.1?
Now what about a 2 channel amp such as the one in the link below. Can it be ran this way------> 2x300 RMS @ 4-Ohms?

If the subs are dual 4 ohms then you'll end up at 4 ohms if you wire in series/parralell but if they are dual 2 ohm coils then you can wire them to 2 ohm mono in the same wiring scheme and get the full power from the kicker amp....they only go down to 2 ohms. if you run them to a 2 channel amp then if it will run in 2 ohm stereo then you could wire the dual 4 ohm sub to 2 ohm each and again extract the most power from the amp but wire them in parrallel +to+ and -to- on each sub and then run to the amp.

lol did you read? there 4ohms buddy

I have a 1-Ohm stable amp on the way to power these subs.

They are the DVC4 Kicker CVR's.

Until this amp arrives what i'm wondering is if I can run these with a mono such as the Kicker 750.1 ( which i'm pretty sure isn't possible).

Or if i can run them by a 2 channel such as the Lanzar amp in the link, like 1 channel for each sub, each sub getting 300 RMS... 300x 2 @ 4-ohm.

maybe this is a little clearer

dual 4 ohm subs will either run 2 or 8 ohm per sub(stereo---2 channel). wired together they will end up with 1 or 4 ohm mono.stereo to the best of my knowledge. alot of amps will run 2 ohm stereo though.

If I want to hook up just one DVC4 CVR I can use a amp that is 2 Ohm stable but not 1 Ohm stable and run it at 2 Ohms, but if I want to run 2 of them together I need to wire it at 4 Ohms or use a 1 Ohms stable amp and run it at 1 Ohm? LOL am i right?

You can run an amp that is 1 ohm stable to 4-2-or 1 ohm. the only thing you do with dropping the ohms is draw more power and curren from the amp and are able to configure more subs together if wanted. sounds like you got the idea now man. give em hell!!
