HELP Identify this mystery beefy 8"

Found this at the local pawn shop today, 4 of them in NEW condition mounted in some kind of weird HT enclosure. Lets say i can get a very good deal on 4 of them them, i should of picked them up today. They are 8"s and have a hell of a motor for an 8. Double stack with atleast 2 or 2.5" coil. They have NO lettering at all on them, or any part numbers or anything. Prototypes of some sort i assume? What would something like this be worth?

that's a home theater subwoofer, many come with out any markings on them.

Thinking about picking them up for use in my bros camaro. Think they would go nice in the little bottom of the hatch area. 8"s need like .75 ported dont they?

HT subs may need more room than others. But no one knows what these are. You should find someone with a woofer tester. That will give you the specs you need. They do look like nice subs though. What kind of price can you get them for?

You didn't have to say... But at that price you didn't pick them up! That's a steal! I'd like to know what kind of box they were in. Any idea, or pics?

just buy them fucckahs.thats cheap... if not working properly selling them on craigslist is always an idea?

id reccomend just playing with one in different size boxes and using a 130db TL for rough estimates on what sounds/works best.
