Help! I get a thud thud popping noise!

So today when i played i put it on for my city kind of loud , the sub stopped and just does a thud thud sound even when nothing is playing. Kind of like its playing a sine wave. I put in a different sub and it does the same. So the sub is not blown at all. I'm thinking it's either a ground or the PAC. I checked everything looks fine.

check RCA's....from hu and the amp...

Its a stock hu with a LOC converter in it. Its in a range rover

Start over with yours gain settings.

sounds like the amp is in need of repair if everything else checks out.

your converter may have burned up. i had the same thing happen to me with my first "system" many years ago.

Thats what I had in mind, the rca i reconnected, amp is still good with a green light on, ground is secure. Must be the LOC, thanks guys

Sounds like you played a really old song and your sub didn't like that

Well my friend tis your amp! trust me my buddy had the same thing happen today when he drove up to my casa.

so today I remove the LOC and the speaker still does the thud noise, but after removing the speaker it shut off, can this be my amp? what can be wrong

friends sub was doing this also,, contact db-r tell them your problem,, they they will say if its your amp or not,, then they will repair it also
