hey guys i have a question about my tweeters.

i have a mb quart pvf-216 componet set with the wide sphear tweets.

they are installed in my 98 camaro and they are mounted in the pillars at the wind shield.

now my question is behind where there mounted its metal and there is not a lot of room and im wondering if the magnet wanting to stick to the metal will affect the tweets like the magnetic field.

i know this might be a wired question but im curious about this.

In my experiences, whenever a magnet of a speaker touches the body of a vehicle.... a dramatic reduction in performance is noticed. You might have to make an extension of some sort to keep the magnets off of the body.

Good question... been there.. and I just mounted the tweets on the metal.. I guess i was dumb and should have done the said above.. . .
