Hey, I was trying to finish part of my audio tonight.

I have new comps up front, they are 400w. So I was thinking of getting a 200x2 for them. Then could I bi-pass my front speakers and run all 4 channels on my head unit to my rear speakers. My hu is 45x4. So I could make it 90x2?

Amp your fronts and forget your rears.

Unless your HU specifically says bridgabe, NO you can not get 90x2.

Nope. When you hook up the Rcas to the back of the deck it automatically doesn't send power through the speaker-wires for those channels anymore.

Alright. Whats a cheap 4 channel for under 80.00 or something. Just something to get my comps going. Needs to be around 100-200x4

What radio do you have that does it? Every one that I've used that has NOT been the case. How else would people use stock internal speakers with subwoofers?

No, most HUs are not bridgeable, and anyways that 45x4 is max power you are most likely getting some where between 15-18x4. also what components do you have?

good luck finding an amp that does 200x4 at all and a cheap 100x4 is going to be hard enough, let alone a quality one...
