help for a rookie

I have a armada and i want a little more bass,( mainly listen to rap and r&b) my current system is

head unit kenwood dd6019

factory bose mids and highs ( will be replaced soon)

amp Memphis 1000.1

sub is Jl 12w6v2-4 in a ported box to jl specs.

The sound quality is great but again i want a little more bass so i was looking @ either 1 kicker 12' solo baric or 3 kicker cvr 10's.

My question is which would be a better sounding system either s/u will be in a sealed box because i know that kickers are loud. Or is there a way to get more out of my jl 12?

the solo baric L7 will barly hit harder then the jl and you will notice a huge loss in s/q
