Help finding Subs...

Okay - those are the published specs as per the manual. The problem here is that the Vibe-series Lanzar gear is a bit infamous for being more than a tad optimistic with their wattage outputs claims.

Going off of the 2 Ohm stereo output figures you should expect about 900w X 1 RMS @ 4 Ohms with the amp in mono bridged mode. Notice the use of the word "should" there...

I'd be willing to bet almost anything that actual output, at best will be about 75% of the published specs.

So - 225w X 2 @ 4 Ohm stereo / about 340w X 2 @ 2 Ohm stereo / 680w X 1 @ 4 Ohm mono bridged.

Maybe.

Quite possibly the output will be less than that even but without throwing a bit of test equipment at it there's no way for me to tell you with absolute certainty.

Now - armed with this new more realistic information make your subwoofer(s) purchase accordingly

I've been told some of this before.. but this is what I wanted to hear as far as numbers go..

Any Sub or subs you'd suggest? you look like you know more than anyone I've talked to about this amp.

all you have to do is find subs that can handle the amps RMS power that are in your price range.

then to top it all off make sure you have solid electrical so you dont clip the signal and simply dont use bass boost and set your gains etc. correctly.

then you wont blow your subs and they can sound somewhat decent and loud for your own prefs. too.

sound like a plan?

sure does to me

An example using subs would be more of a plan ..

see I tried doing what you just said already.
