ok if it wasnt on the dot what would be a good choice to be at least very close near around 1000rms ?

Port the type R's off 1000rms and should wang chung!

Really not that hard to be honest.

If you had them, then you must not have had it set up correctly. I have done 141.2dbs in a sealed box with the R's, which people say don't go sealed. It worked for me off 1000rms.

But, I am with WSW on this. The Boston G5 is a nice *** sub as well. Wouldn't mind trying a pair of those off 1000rms.
