Help Find a Head

I have searched.

I just cannot find the right head for ME.

2005 Focus. 7.9" depth double din.

I am looking for a head unit with...

3 pairs of 4v. preouts

want to switch off the internal amp {using all external amps}

time correction for staging

24 bit DAC

sirius satellite compatible. I want the satellite unit to send a digital signal to the head. I doubt that any sat. receivers have a 24 bit DAC

steering wheel audio control compatible

USB input. I would like to install an external 1-2 TB hard drive. The head unit should also be able to read various lossless music formats.

I'll edit my preferences later. I know that I am forgetting something..

BUDGET: Let's keep it under $1000 with sat. package and SWAC otherwise I will just get a Bit One

After I get a quality source unit, we will address replacement amps, components and subs.

Just to note: the entire budget is $4000-6000 including wires, fuses, alternator, enclosure, and extensive sound deadining.

top end alpine but I think those r 5volt preouts...don't find too many 4volt.

I just picked up a Eclipse CD7100 does everything you're asking I believe I didn't look too close at the remote wheel specs cuz I won't have that option, but thats 8volt preamp outs maybe a little steep for your setup.

Alpine CDA-9887 fits the bill minus the USB. It has every option your looking for except the USB requirement. Another HU is a CDA-117. Its the same internally as the 9887, but has USB built in as well.
