Im Building My System And Now Have 2 Kicker Compvx12's

Im Thinking About Getting A Sealed Box That Has A 1.75 Cu Ft. Per Chamber (as Rcmnd By Kicker) So I Can Make A Hole And Pvc Port It To My Rear Deck But I Can Find A Site That Sells Boxes In That Size I No There Around Just Cant Come Across It

Im Willing To Build It My Self But Id Rather Buy It And Get It Over With Its Getting Cold Out

And Lastly Will 5/8 Mdf Be Good Enough Or Do I Need The 3/4 Mdf

There are plenty of box builders or cabinet makers in your area that can put the wood together for you. It's hard to come across pre-enclosures that are 1.75 cf sealed. What kind of car do you have and how power are you putting into the woofers.

if ur gonna do a prefab goto sonicelectronics.com and get the biggest ported enclosure they have and block the ports and redo them. huge waste imo just have 1 built. 1.75 sealed will **** balls even worse when u port it they need 2.5cf each ported as a minimum or they sound horrible a cvx is just a round model L series

I Have A 02 Monte Carlo I Wish I Still Had My Truck I Wouldnt Really Worry That Much About The Box But I Think I Should Leak Some Bass Into The Cabin Area Im More Of A Sealed Box Person

Im Thinking About The Hifoincs Brutus1601 Somthing Like That

With The Correct Wiring Im Having It Put Out 1600rms At 1ohm

What Do U Thinki Should Do With This Box Situation Get A Smaller Chamber And Port It Or Just Go With There Specs? I Do Feel This Huge Box Might Not Sound As Good

a 1600 series brutus is a good amp for them if you want more output do a dsc 1500 or 2000 i sell all of them cheap. if you want good output do at least 2cf sealed or 2.5 ported at 35-38

You can use a sealed design or vented, depends on what type of response you are looking for. The 1.75 cu. ft per chamber is way to big for a sealed application with these woofers. I've called kicker before and their recommended aftermarket subwoofer enclosure supplier is Atrend. Check out their site (http://www.atrendusa.com).

I would recommend their 12DVR'S or E Series enclosures....

Also, go 3/4" MDF for sure!
