i have the x5 xover. the bass knob plug has a short in it. after a while or a hard bump the plug will move and turn my bass off then i have to pull over and readjust it what can i do? i need help please

Agreed with this here. Since you have the unit pulled out of the car/dash...test it at your car battery directly for operation. very simple to do...
