ive seen somewhere online where there's like a plug where u can fit alot of wire on one end and it plugs perfectly into the power terminal in order to connect more wire than can actually fit in there.....anybody know what im talking about? trying to get dual 0awg into a single 0awg.........

a reducer?? if ur gonna spend the money for that y not just cut off the unneeded strands of wire??
would that still work? would i loose any more ability to move power than i would if i buy a reducer type thing? cause the power travels on the surface fo the wire.....dont wanna cut wire....but do you think itll make a differance either way??

if you're hooking it up to the amp, i'd use a reducer, just to prevent the clipped parts of the wire, that aren't in the terminal, from shorting to the case of the amp, or the opposite terminal

if it's for a battery terminal, or a distro block, it wouldn't much matter, since the entire casing of the distro block is usually charged

right hand side of the package.. holds 2 anl fuses

you'll gain more impedence with anything between the wire and the terimal, thats why i don't solder my ends on, with that said, just trim off half the strands on each wire

ya i think thats what im gonna end up doing.......

Why do amp manufacturers put small terminals when people are supposed to use a large gauge wire? ex. Memphis Belle. Supposed to make 1550w and has terminals that only fit 4awg wire.

i was runnign 2 1501d's....and i gave each of them a 0awg run //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
