Help Down to Two Choices

Ok I have narrowed down my choices down to two subs. The sub will be sealed with 1200 watts. The two choices are SI mag or Fi Q. which would you run and why?

I have no experience with either, but from what I have read the Mag is on a different level then the Q. I say Mag.

is there a budget? can you get them both for the same price? if so, i'd go w/ the Mag. I'm sure that you can get the Q for cheaper, so i'd go with the Fi Q if money was an issue.

I happen to have a Mag for sale, basically brand new $375 shipped in the 48

Run the Mag. It's a beast, and compared to the Q (not considering price, like has been said) it is a stronger woofer.

I can't speak as to the Q --- but the Mag certainly is a great sub.

Both are in the same category/ level in built quality and power handling. The Mag is little more efficient but, the fi q can be used in smaller boxes. Different sounds from each other, not better or worse, just depends on what you like, both have won sq competitions. The mag has $180 price difference over the Q. Hard choice between the two unless you listened to both and liked one sound better than the other.

Ive heard both, I personally would go with a mag. Q is a budget mag, it sounds a bit sloppier, not bad just in comparison to the mag. but in my testing it was .2 db louder than the mag.

cant go wrong with either

Have both, not a budget mag if they sound different and both companies uses parts in same quality. Why pay 180 more for a chrome motor.

How 'bout one more choice, lol. Sell you my 12" D2 TC9 Hybrid for $250 shipped.

But out of the choices listed, I agree with pretty much everyone else in the thread. Mag if you have the cash, but you won't be disappointed with the Q either.
