Help do I want 2ohm or 4ohm sub?

Okey I am going to buy a 15" rf power stage 1. I have a power 1001bd amp so which ohm do I want and is going to give me the most spl? Or can I wire the subs into other ohms. you don't need ohms to make a sub loud. trust me.

are u talking about a power T1? if so it is 600 rms and you would need a dual 2 ohm to get around 500 rms out of you amp( if u wire it in series to 4ohms), but if u got dual 4 your amp would put out 1000rms(Wire in parallel to 2ohms), if u wanted to use all that power u can get a T2 or another sub with 1000rms like an RE SX or alpine type X or L7 or something

are u fully set on that sub try like a L& 15 with 1000rms or so

that amp puts out 1000wrms at 2 ohms, which would mean you need a dual 4. That is, of course, if you actually want all 1000wrms. If you want less you'll need to be careful w/ your gain settings, or else try a higher ohm load (dual 2 ohms wired to 4 ohms).

Im a little confused. The sub is a power t1 and the amp puts out 1130 at 2ohm's and 1389 at 1ohm. So ethier sub will work but I cant wire the 4ohm sub into one and wouldnt be able to get the most out of the amp but i dont think i need all of it. So im guessing ethier 2 or 4 will work but two would be better? I getting a real good deal on this sub so im gona stick with it

Ok I got I think a want a 4ohm. If I was going to be running 2 speaker I would want a 2ohm.
