Help Dianose These PICS....

disconnect the amp and check the voltage with the fuses in... i had a crappy fuse/fuse holder, then i got a circuit breaker and no more problems. i was getting the same weird readings with my DMM.

Do you have a friend that has a system? If so see if you can try your amp in their vehicle. It might be a pain, but it'll help you figure out if it's your amp or the wiring in your car.

Here's an idea.

Unhook the amps completely.

Leave the fuses in (make sure the + lead doesn't touch any metal).

Put the + DMM lead on the end of the power wire (the one that goes to the amp) and put the - DMM lead on the ground where the amps are grounded.

If it still has a funky reading, then it's not the amps.

okay i just got back from work after the amp check up.... both amps are completely.... FINE, lol, im so thankful... its my fockin wiring and im gonna go with new wiring with my next paycheck. but iono why its my wiring, everything seems so right.... how do i know if they're burned? shorted?
