Help desperately Needed. Weird Project.

Hi Guys and Girls.

This is a weird project i have been requested to take on but i am not sure how to go about it.

I have tried talking them out of it but to no avail....

Vehicle:

1991 560SEC Mercedes Benz.

Current Setup:

Original Boeker Mexico Cassette. (Pretty much Shot)

2 rear 6.5" Speakers 2 Ohms (Shot and Blown)

2 Front 3" Speakers 2 Ohms (Shot and Blown)

What they want:

New Head Unit (USB and Aux only).

New Speakers.

Easy right????

Not exactly. See they have the speakers.

2 Boxes from a home Stereo System.

Each box has 2 Ports.

Each box has a main speaker 6 Ohms

Each box has a surround Set (Three speakers) 16 Ohms

So Each speaker Box has 2 pairs of speaker wire coming out of it.

These speakers originally came off an AIWA 2200W PMPO home stereo system.

So my question to you.

How in the heck am i supposed to do this?

I have basic car audio installation skills.

i have a 300$ Budget.

They don't care which brand of head unit and/or/amp is used as long as it sounds good in the end.

Politely turn down the job, you are going to have more headaches than what it is worth. Some people/cars are simply not worth the minimal profit.

I would simply respectfully explain that the equipment they have is not for car audio, and would more than likely not work well and probably sound terrible and you would prefer they have someone else install it if they are hell bent on using it.
